Map #1 is the French Quarter, Faubourg Marigny + Central Business District: (The banana lady can't figure out how to mark us on map, sooooooo, look for the GOLD colored rectangle -- that's the FRENCH QUARTER, which is bounded by Esplanade Ave., N. Rampart, Canal St., and Mississippi River. Main B&B is at bottom, right corner.) The French Quarter is teeny, tiny.  You can walk from one end to the other in only 15 minutes, so even though the map makes French Quarter look big, it's not.
