RATES:   

Since we want you to come back AND recommend us to friends, colleagues and family, we try to keep our accommodations MODERATELY priced (that's only one reason that more than 50% of our guests are repeat guests or referrals).

This should give you an idea of our ALL INCLUSIVE, best rates:

Priced so YOU CAN AFFORD a week, or just a weekend. Our rates depend on the accommodation you select, location, length of stay, what is available, and season or time of year.  You might prefer a room at the main B&B, a studio in an historic building, or a romantic townhouse or cottage.

RATES WITH NO "SURPRISES": If you are like us, we travel on a budget, so our rates are  ALL INCLUSIVE.  (Nope.  Some hotels DON'T include all the stuff WE DO):

What might be extra: Parking. Airport to French Quarter transportation. Arrival not during registration hours. More than one registration for your accommodation (only applies if different people in same accommodation arrive at different times and we must be available to let each arriving guest in and orient them to French Quarter).

In New Orleans, it's Valentines Day year round: The French Quarter is the perfect setting for a little romance. What better place to celebrate than the Vieux Carre?

Don't be just a room number. We'll let you in on secret hideaways and the most romantic restaurants to enjoy a candlelit dinner. Stroll, hand in hand, under century old live oaks, to an evening of the best music and dancing in the city.     AFFORDABLE RETREAT: Y'all would be surprised how affordable it could be at Banana Courtyard, way down yonder in New Orleans where the past lives on.

    JUST FOR Y'ALL: We'll set up the main B&B just for you and your friends, so you can devote as much time as you want, sorting through your clippings and photographs, swapping pictures (you know the drug stores now have machines where you can make extra copies, instantly). You'll FINALLY get all that stuff  into albums while you are sitting around our big table sharing ideas, laughs, and almost forgotten stories with your friends.  We might even provide afternoon tea or a cocktail or two, if you ask us "real sweet"  . . . and we're in the mood.

    KICK BACK AND ENJOY THE FRENCH QUARTER: When you put the scrapbooks away for the day, you're just around the corner from great restaurants and music clubs. We can help you find the perfect neighborhood places, only the locals know about. AND, best of all, when you go home, you'll be all caught up on the latest news with your friends and FINALLY have that great album, instead of all those boxes of "stuff".

    YOUR SCRAPBOOK IS COMPLETE AND WONDERFUL (your friends will be jealous): If YOUR scrapbook is all beautifully done, bring it along, then YOU can show THEM how it's done.

    CHRISTMAS: Unlike most hotels, we DO NOT charge holiday rates during Christmas. We feel that is a special time for many of you.  Our Christmas gift to you is reasonable rates. 

    Early December, many dates are GENEROUSLY discounted until Christmas weekend.

     

    THIS YEARS RATE FOR NEXT YEAR'S DATES (these discounted rates, our great locations, and EXTRA services are among the many reasons we have so many guests return to us, or refer their friends, family, and colleagues):  Reserve within a few days of 1st contact with us and we will guarantee you CURRENT prices for your arrival dates next year (you'll avoid the 5% annual rate increase).  Example, if you are staying with us during JazzFest and make a reservation then for next year, we give you current rates for dates next year.

     

    NO HURRICANE GUARANTEE 2008: The time is RIGHT. Cool music, COOLinary specials, and so many things to see and do that your time having fun here will pass too quickly.

    Even though we’ve had our once in 50 year HURRICANES (the not so ladylike, Rita and Katrina), some folks are concerned about coming to New Orleans in August and September. We’re so confident that NOLA will be passed by this year that we decided to offer this guarantee for those 2 months:

    If the weather center confirms a hurricane for the Big Easy, we waive regular cancellation policy so you may cancel your reservation, with no penalty and use the credit for a future stay.
